Our Leadership View: We have moved from a positional authoritarian hierarchical form of church government to Jesus as head of His church and us as members of His body operating according to our gifts and measure of faith in unity and submission to one another. This means that our Pastor functions not as the top of the ministerial totem pole but rather as that being his gift and function in the body. In the same way our pastor would submit to any other gift in the body according to its function. All this operates in unity as we pursue serving each other by faith in love. In this way authority of the believer is not abused but rather encouraged and the body is built up in love.

I am a husband, father, pastor, church planter, thinker, teacher, and visionary; amongst other things. I am passionate about the Word of God and the Transforming Life of Jesus.
My much better half in life and ministry is my wife, Amy. She is amazing to me. We were married in 1988 and have three incredible kids. Life in our home is loud and full of laughter. It’s probably what keeps me looking so young. (Ha!)
